A photo project for everyone.
I've had an idea of making a site where people pick one day and photograph something every hour to see how your normal day looks like. And seeing the differences of one man or womans normal day. You probably think that your day is pretty boring, but when you see what another person on the other side of the world is doing on one of his/her normal day it can be really interesting. But I need people to help me get started so I could more people involved when they see how this works. Okey this is how far I have come so far... http://www.3jorn.com/photohour/ It's not done yet, but I guess you'll get the point. And of course if you have comments or suggestions to the site please tell me *EDIT* Okey now the project is up at: http://www.yournormalday.com Last edited by 3jorn : 26-05-2005 at 08:39. |

Um...what in the world do you do that you follow blondes around the countryside all day taking highly posed pictures for 18 hours. I don't believe it, sorry, there's nothing 'everyday' about that. I have a hard time believe that every hour, on the hour, you're staring at a blonde woman frolicking in a field. Unless people in Sweden live in some alternate universe from us Americans...a universe where there's no eating, no shitting, no working, and the sun doesn't change position for 5 hours at a time. Great idea, though. EDIT: Perhaps those are filler images and I didn't realize it...if so, I take back everything I said, except that it's a great idea. I'll be happy to participate. Just gotta get my digital camera back from my father. This is a really great idea, I must say. |

I'll probably do mine on Friday, so I can get pics in the hospital while I'm getting my epidural steroid injections. Might be interesting. |

Question: How are you going to show more than one person/continent??? The only submission seems to be North America...and I just have to click on "North America" - what about others in NA? Am I missing something - a way to see individuals on the map? What happened to the blue dot in Sweden? I'm lost. |

Check out some of the other places, he lists them under the thumbnails - click a set to change the thumbnails. Seems quite limited on capacity if it does take off, but then if the idea is a constant rotation to keep it fresh then that's good too. Too many could be too much. |

yeah pgo, as dan said, there are names for every person that sumbits. But there has only been one submit from North America. I just updated my own photos from Sweden... dan yeah, there might be a problem if there is too many submits. But I have never been able to make a site THAT successful yet... But I'll figure something out if it comes to that. Sorry lucid, yeah it might take some time to figure the thing out... |
