I want to buy me a decent entry-level camera and I am not sure which of the two to choose.
I should say that I have little experience with digital photography (better said with photography in general), and I want something to get me started in that direction, please advise.

Canon/Nikon/Pentax are probabley the best bet as they dont use el cheapo components for their lenses like non-camera specialists do ie. Sony.
