3d Me

I want/need to take a photo of myself and when I've removed the background I need to look more 3-dimensional. Wouldn't usually be a problem after painting in a few shadows and highlights but in this case there is no space for shadows.

I've got a few ideas I'm going to try out now but if anyone has any techniques they'd be appreciated

Equipment wise it's just a bog-standard Nikon Coolpix 3100.

Fixed it by taking pics at varying angles then cutting body parts off (hands and arms) and replacing them with added shadows and highlights painted in.
