I'm guessing you mean leeching directly from their server? This is bad for two reasons: 1. You are stealing their bandwidth - a few of them don't mind about this but I'd imagine most do. 2. You run the risk of them moving or deleting the image leaving you with a big fat X on your site where the image was supposed to be and making you look like a n00b. |

lol..... calm down i pay for bandwidth I know the pain . ANyway its called Hot linking and some companies allow that to entice more people to put their images in profiles on their personal pages so that..... the Leached pictures...... are directing people to their website. i posted in the wrong place i was sleepy i want free upload websites not free pictures........ blogspot lets you do something similar add pictures to the blog/ i have the free software and its taking me too long to figure out what my account is all about. Hang on image100 ain't free... it's royalty free but it ain't free like those mentioned above. You do have to pay a fee for legal use of the images - yes even web. They have various licences which you pay for for various sizes and image uses. Royalty Free menas you only ever pay one fee and don't have to pay the photographer royalties each time the image is used. Better re-read their licencing info, for example your web files (1MB) will cost you... 1 mb (RGB) 72 dpi £69 €79 Ripping the jpegs direct from the site isn't acceptable terms of use. Or am I missing the glaringly obvious "free" lable that they don't have? |
