Cambridge Colleges - Couple of my Photos
Just a few shots I took with my 400d, using a polariser on the lens too, harsh crits and comments welcome: ![]() ![]() ![]() p.s the calibration on my macbook monitor is awful, so they probably don't look how I want them to look but I'll sort it. |

Top one is nice, beautiful colours. Not too keen on the middle one with the line cutting through the sky and the building on the third one looks too saturated, nice sky and composition though. I love the architecture in Cambridge, its fantastic. I currently live in Oxford and its such a beautiful place, I would have to say it slightly more inspiring than Cambridge |

The polaroid filter can work wonders when you know what it can do - as you obviously know. These are all beautiful. The architecture in the last photo looks a little flat, especially on the right - try another version when the light is at a sharper angle - but the contours in the foreground are lovely. If these were mine, I'd photoshop the contrails out of No.2. Thanks for the post. It reaffirms faith in humanity to see quality once or twice a month! |

Don't like the colors in the bottom one. I see what you're trying to do, but it just seems flat to me. The vignietting is too strong in that one too. Top one is great. I would airbrush out the white line in the sky in the middle one. It takes focus away from the people. |
