It took me three clicks before I even saw any photos which is never a good thing. Because of the design, on 1024*768, I then have to scroll down everytime to get the photo framed in my window which is annoying if you just wanna click through all the images.

As far as the layout goes, I'd maybe lose the gradient/drop shadow and make the serif font bigger.

Did you actually look through any of the pictures? I was hoping for more feedback on that rather than the layout!

Ah, I didn't even notice the forum you'd posted in.

Yeah I looked through the photos. Nothing really grabbed me but like I say I was getting fucked off with scrolling down everytime. Some of the urban shots are interesting.

I quite like a bit of your stuff.

I would recommend getting rid of the majority of guff though, there are an awful lot of images on there. If oyullok at the good photographer sites, they only have 10-15 images per section, in about 4 or so sections.

Your stuff is good enough to populate galleries in that way while removing some of the poorer images.

I'd go along with that - especially the oyullok bit.

There are some nice photos in there, but they're amongst too many mediocre shots.

Also you might wanna try running the images you choose for the gallery through Neat Image which will get rid of the Noise which is in quite a few shots.

I would seriously strip out 60% of the photos though especially the under or over exposed. Some have really bad Chroming as well.

Try to end up with a gallery full of only your best shots with solid composition and exposure. Don't be affriad to touch up the images in photoshop or correct the exposure levels.

I keep 2 portfolios on my computer, one which is photographically solid which is presentable as a showcase. The other one i keep just for myself, not so good shots, but remind me of good times and alike.

Its hard ditching shots sometimes when you want to show everyone each single shot. Be very critical of your photogarphy.

I really love some of the shots though keep it up....
