Photography
I am 22, and just recently I picked up an interest in photography. It all started one day when I was at my moms, and she was planting flowers in her garden. I was bored, so I went inside and came across her digital camera. I started taking pictures of the beautiful flowers and I have been filming all my life, and I want some pointers on how to start photography. Flowers and nature are my favorite things to photograph. |

As a pass-time. just enjoy it! But I can say it is hard graft to get into professional photography. If you want to get in the industry I would say start trying to build a portfolio - not just of flowers but people, places, character portraits, animals, product shots, night-time, morning, etc. etc. then try going around studios and see if you can blag a placement. hard hard work. but it is a great job if you can get it. |

If you have an SLR, get a set of extension tubes for close-up work. This was taken with my Ixus 500 on its macro setting and is pretty adequate for my purposes. My free fonts www.utfi.net

Not sure how to get into that side of the industry due to the fact I work with people and motorcycles. All I can say is, shoot-shoot-shoot, build your port and just start marketing yourself. Good luck with everything!! |
