Photography

Some nice photos on here.

Been thinking about adding some photos to my personal site for a while, only thing is subject matter - it seems like a pre-requisite to have some manky old buildings and urban graffiti photos these days though.

i love photography, been at since i was about 10, i have a bachelor in it, and the only way i stayed sane during those years (uni) was to do my own thing.

be different, take pictures of how you see things (your view of the world, not youre view the way you think the world is viewed by other photographers).

if we all stuck to the same subject matter, it would be so boring and why bother?

i got high marks by one lecturer for my work, but the actual photography lecturer didnt like my stuff cause i didnt stick to the pretty 8"x10" photos that the others did.

sorry mini rant, im just so fed up with new photographers these days doing all the same thing (the trend). its been done years and years ago. thos images bore me now.

mind you i havent picked up my cameras since uni lol

a lot of people simply make money off of doing what everyone else is doing, which is kinda sad, but there's not much we can do about it =|

you always get a lot more respect and recognition in the end though if you do your own thing, because it shows in all your work and that speaks tons to people, even if they don't immediately realize it...
