i have been lumbered with the task of being an in-house photographer as well as designer in work, im not a photographer by any stretch of the imagination but seeing as im the chap with the design skills i have been blessed with the task.

What they are basically after is a basic lighting / photography setup to take good pictures of products / packaging that are of a good enough quality to use for showing clients in presentations instead of using an outside photographer....

although they and I know it wont be as good as a professional, its more cost effectve and quicker to do it this way as we're taking photo's almost constantly of our new products which are always being developed.

they were looking at something like the mini digital studio kit which is on http://www.techlamps.co.uk/ but maybe not as elaborate and a couple of hundred pounds cheaper!

can anyone point me in the right direction or can advise of any products / setups that would be good.

Light Tent
a couple of lamps try Portaflash
a tripod and a slr

and you'l be sorted

you may wanna get a macro lens and a zoom lens as well for the camera!!!

a light tent seems ideal, ive seen a few as well which have lighting included... seems a step in the right direction though, thanks.
