Finally got the cable back from my friend's place this weekend so I could use my camera again, took some snaps while I was on my way out to meet a friend about a job.

Some nice shots out here already. Can't wait to see the rest of the entries. This was done with lil Canon PowerShot A80 btw.

Do you get that light effect because of the slow shutter speed?

Not really experimented with night photography, but that looks pretty smart.

Thank you

Didn't have my tripod so I had to hop up onto this elevated transformer and place the camera on there, heh. Thankfully worked well :p

Narate: Yeah, I think I had it on 6 or 8 second shutter speed, with an f-stop of 8, and "Vivid" in the color settings, and Tungsten in the white balance.

Luggage wasn't very street-like - train-like, yesh...

Coppers - I saw some down the street, but was more concerned that all the other hundreds of people would go away - as luck would have it, they did just as the cops walked through... Ahhhhhh yesh

To be fair if you didn't read the other thread you wouldn't know what the theme was for sure, It's not stated at the start of this thread.

It's "Street Photography" for anyone who's interested.

Perhaps all three.

EDIT: Or are you in fact Sean Connery?

It is a very nice and clean crispy picture but it is not reall applying to the actual theme. WHich is "Street Photography". My fault, I should have mentioned again when opening this thread.

Cheers,

I can announce that there will be a new set up of the contest when the year 2005 will take-off.
I hope the new set-up will be more informative and more understandable for old and new users/attenders.

A look a like contest is running on a huge Dutch forum and there it is doing very well, lots of participants and an highly active community. Now I must admit, that it kinda took-off slowly, but it is really doing nice now on Designerstalk.com , very cool!

Lets keep on photographing for fun.
