What do you people think about a photography contest. Just for the beginners, average and even advanced to participate for fun, in the "designerstalk.com" photography contest. I suggest that we vote each month for a particulair subject to photograph. I.E. If the theme is set out to be "Architecture" for Octobre, then we will only accept and post architecture shots. At the end of the month people decide again by voting in the topic which 'still' has won. Following this example we can do every month another theme and while posting your shots you might receive useful feedback from others. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Regulations: * The picture you send in must apply to the actual theme that is announced in the topic. Other pictures will not compete. * You can only send in one picture that will compete with the others, so decide carefully which one you will use. * Please take NOTICE that this is not a PHOTOSHOP contest. So try to leave as much filters out. * All pictures taken, must be taken from your own camera by yourself. If you use any kind of filter, of course this must be a legal one (camera-option), not photoshopped. * Please resize the width of your pictures to 550 pixels or less since this does not affect the layout of this forum. * If you cannot host your pictures yourself, you can send them to dkny@europe.com - Please keep in mind that your picture cannot exceed the size of 200KB. ------------------------------- At last, I want to add that it might be helpful if we split the topic into a slowchat topic, where you can discuss the pictures and a topic that will only be used to post and show the pictures. I hope everyone that likes photgraphing will participate! It's just for fun, but maybe we can expand the contest in the future.. As this is the first time.. I would recommend to use the "architecture" theme, just to take off, and next month we will decide together what theme it is gonna be. -Closing date for sendings is: 27th of Octobre- Cheers! |

cyk, that photo is untouched. The desert sky was just incredibly blue that day. That, coupled with the bluish reflective tinting on the hotel windows, gives it the overal tint you noticed. fun: HGC v.4 | last.fm: DT | me | oi! f*ck u roto: ...via meebo!

But is cropping allowed, in case with the anti-photoshopping policy? |

Those reflections make that a really great shot. Just out of curiosity, what time of day was that taken? |
