Here's my contribution. Not your typical architectural shot but I guess it fits the brief just about. It actually a shot of a letterbox somewhere in the south of France (i forget where exactly) . It's been created out of old wooden printing blocks, it's about 4 or 5 feet tall and was on the front of an old french town house. Taken on a digital compact, nothing altered (not even the terrible barrel distortion), just a border added. |

Love that door... I wouldn't want it though... I'd never go through it. I'd just sit out on my porch and try to read it. |

Lovely pictures so far! Good to see such an active contribution You can apply your photos till wednesday. then we should start a poll? and vote for the winner of the architecture theme, and we should also vote for a new subject for the next round. |

A couple of miles outside Philly on a particularly skanky train station. I liked perspective of the lamp-post/street-light to the buildings and the contrast between the shiny city sky-line and the dark rusty train station structure. Nikon Coolpix 3100. ![]() |

... it's a friend's hand-built love shack, at the end of the garden. stayed there a few weeks ago. lovely house. hmm... Not sure if you can even call this architecture though? (ameteur) But as they describe it as "the house is an extenstion of the garden" O well, what the hell - ban me, for being different! |

haha you'd like manchester - cranes everywhere as they rush to build swanky glass fronted flats. Might grab a pic of them when I get my camera. Full marks for everyone in this thread by the way, great stuff. |

Participants in chronological order (first picture posters): ®oto Cyk Forever seen.to (only first picture counts) adras blindfive adrian BoGeYMaN (only first picture counts) tomson alice Brown replastik chips ------------------------------------------------------------- I am not sure, maybe it is easier to start a new thread with a poll option. And insert all the names into the poll choices? Just let me know, or anyone can open such a thread, just put these names in the poll. Thanks for the active contribution! I am sure that we can keep this 'idea' going on for a few months. GG |
