At this rate, Steve will win by default for being the only actual submission within the rules. Can't we do beautiful people instead?

The blur is to protect your eyes.

You betcha!

I think the subject this month is the most difficult we've had so far. It would take a fairly heartless person to simply take a photograph of someone who has been less well-treated by Mother Nature, who admittedly can be a spiteful bitch.
What I wanted to suggest with my blurry pic - and I took about 40 others just as blurry, quite intentionally - is the rush and urgency after people leave work and simply want to escape to their homes. Everyone else seems monstrous, existing only to cause obstructions and inconvenience. That makes them as ugly as one's own mood.

Setting a tiebreaker tomorrow. Hopefully we still have enough time to get something by the end of the month.

Attention: Theme has changed.

it is URBAN DECAY now. If you had already taken shots for the previous theme, please post them as well.

I walked over a kilometre from my workplace to the station yesterday looking for signs of urban blight and the worst I saw was this example of gratuitious tagging and littering by the bus station. Sorry, this is as bad as it gets up here.

Plenty of things to photograph here. If only weather were nice over the weekend.

Gratuitous? Finland must be like a sterile lab compared to the UK then.

I'm going out tomorrow night with my tripod, prepare to see an entry...here's to hoping there aren't any rats at the place I'm going.

It's the one thing visitors always comment on - that and the number of drunks.

Sounds like it would be suitably decayed, then!
