Urban Decay - New theme (May 2008 Photo competition)
Okay it's decided. The theme is: URBAN DECAY (changed from ugly people). Rules (originally set by Forever I think)
Post your contributions in this thread until May 31st, 2008. The winner of the competition gets to propose the next theme. Good luck, all! Last edited by emil : 15-05-2008 at 01:47. Reason: Changed theme |

Are there any legalities to consider here? If you photograph someone without their permission and display it here under the heading 'Ugly People' if they were to discover the pic do they have grounds for legal action? Just curious? |

If that person is in a public place they can be legally photographed without permission - calling them ugly maybe slander though |

I'm having trouble with the subject. It's not that there aren't ugly people around but that I have trouble with posting a pic of them calling them ugly. Lens wise I've got a 50mm, 28-135mm and a 70-300mm (which I highly recommend for the price) so I could get some shots without people knowing but would still take issue with posting it in such a category. I really fancy a 10-22mm sometime soon. Alternatively considering a 17-85mm as a walkaround and selling the 28-135. It'll mean less crossover but I really do like the 28-135 as a walkaround lens. Now I'm really rambling on about lenses, move along. |
