Poll is closed - Green is the theme for April.

Submit your entries in this thread by the end of the month - 30th April 2007.

Rules:

* The picture you send in must apply to the actual theme that is announced in the topic. Other pictures will not compete.

* You can only send in one picture that will compete with the others, so decide carefully which one you will use.

* Please take NOTICE that this is not a PHOTOSHOP contest. So try to leave as much filters out.

* All pictures taken, must be taken from your own camera by yourself. If you use any kind of filter, of course this must be a legal one (camera-option), not photoshopped.

* Please resize the width of your pictures to 550 pixels or less since this does not affect the layout of this forum.

* All Images must be shot within the Month of the Competition.

It was decolourised in Paintshop Pro. (Snitch!)

I tried and I left out as much as possible. The green/greyscale was essential to accenuate the double meaning I thought.

The sunflare is natural.

My friend Jonna lives with her quasi-hubby, cat and dog in the neighbouring town in a house built in 1962 by her grandparents. The house has always been painted green, and it's known as the "Green House" by the entire neighbourhood. In mid-April a group of friends got together on an unseasonably warm evening for some traditional Finnish yard games and sampling of alcoholic beverages. I took this photo of a detail of the wood shed in the late afternoon sun. The original has been straightened and a slight blue cast removed.

Sadly, it was a BYOB affair, (or "MuistOttOmPullMuk" soomes) so I took a 6pack of Lapin Kulta.
Haven't been across to EE recently, and that's the only time I buy Viru valge. Otherwise the local Suomi-viina is pretty good (32%) and cheaper.
