Not along the lines mentioned so far, but I can really recommend...

Faultline - Your Love Means Everything

A classically-trained musician turns his very consumate hand to electronica 'songs' with guest vocals from Chris Martin (Coldplay), Thom Yorke (Radiohead), Wayne Coyne (Flaming Lips) and Michael Stipes (REM).

Imho, an outstanding release that's been criminally overlooked by the general music press.

A dance-oriented album I've been playing alot recently is 'Pursuit of Happiness' by 'Weekend Players'.

A good mixture of uptempo (clubber, but not trancey) dance tracks with some nice downtempo/chillout stuff.

Got another album to strongly recommend to you, Oli (and everyone else, for that matter).

Been playing it now for the past few days and it's gonna be one of those that I play at least once a day for the next week or so.

Cedars by Clearlake (Domino Recordings Co.)

The Clearlake sound makes me think of how Blur would have sounded in their more imaginative moments if they had recorded on SubPop Records.

If you find that this presses your buttons then I can heartily recommend just about anything on the SubPop Records label.
One album in particular comes to mind as definately worth checking out is:

Oh, Inverted World by The Shins.

Musically speaking, Clearlake are halfway between Blur and The Shins, and by the sound of things thats not a bad place to be.
