When it comes to music I usually listen to it in moods. So now I'm listening to the same 30 or so songs until i get bored. Then I'll move on to a new pack.

Who are your favourite artists?

Personally I like stuff from Cyantific, Logistics, London Elektricity, syncopix absolutely love High Contrast. tbh I like most of the artists signed on Hospital.

I'm thinking of going to my first drum&bass night, but I'm put off as I absolutely can't stand mc's I think they destroy the music in my opinion.

At this exact moment, That's Entertainment - The Jam. It's affecting my concentration though... Good for designing, not so good for coding.

When you get in a club, you will realise why they are there.

Well i started out listening when metalheadz were getting big so I like the platinum breaks albums and some of the artists involved in that.

Basically the more experimental stuff.

Were getting big? That was a very long time ago. Remember Terminator?

I used to go to Metalheadz at Hanover Grand, SW1, Blue Note, Camden pretty religiously.

yep remember terminator quality tune. To be fair I probably got into them around the time they released the first platinum breaks album in 1996 so probably not back at the start.

cant believe you went to the blue note you bastard, would have loved to have gone to that night. quality

Yes when I first heard that tune, it was such a change, kinda shaped what came next.

For a period of a year or so, Metalheadz was the only D&B night we went out too. Goldie was shit on the decks. SW1 was the best.

He is a good organiser though. Made some seminal tunes. Got too big for his boots.

You heard any Chase & Status that has been banded about by Radio 1?

I havent really been listening to d+b that much lately all the recen tstuff seems to be a bit cack!

I occasionally listen to fabio on radio1 i like that liquid style he's got going on, bit more mellow for my aging ears.

will check out that chase and status though, the name rings a bell

limewax is one of the few modern dnb artists I can stand - 90% of it has gone to the dogs.

Even then he turns out some proper toss as well.

This is a tune:
