QITNL is better than their new(er) one - Riot on an Empty Street.
The songs on QITNL are simply more distinctive
…imho™, naturally.

Just been listening to A Snapshot From 2003 Domino Ten-Day complilation with a track by Erland Øye (of KoC) & Prefuse 73.

It's official.
I've had about all I can take of Øye's voice and delivery style.

Incidentally, just noticed that Domino are placing the tracks from the not-so-widely-available Four Tet Live in Copenhagen CDR online for a limited period.

Actually not a bad collection. I think it was from an event organised by Domino Record Co. and the CD was a freebie with the May 2003 issue of The Wire.
Domino have quite a bit of stuff that I don't really go for, but there's a few nuggets to be found there and on this cd.
I'd actually like the Øye/Prefuse track if it was an instrumental.

Muggs - Dust

6 months after the smallbeer told me about this I have finally got it. Quite nice so far - Rain and Fat City are the favourites on first listen.

But I think it may be a grower. Fnarr

Here's one to add to your Christmas list then

Headset - Spacesettings

It's some crazy collaboration between Allen Avenissian (Plug Research) and Jimmy Tamborello (Dntel, Postal Service) but others are brought in to add their own touchs to individual tracks.

It's some crazy experimental shit. Straight up hip-hop along side jazz and Warp Records-esque glitches.

I've also been listening to Sixtoo's latest - Chewing On Glass & Other Miracle Cures - which I reckon you might like. but that might have to wait 'til Easter.

Sold my decks years ago and they've just been sitting in storage for years.
They're predominantly early '90s DnB/Jungle/Breakbeat/Hardcore/house and include a fair amount of sought after classic issues.
Given the likelihood of me ever playing them out again (approx. 0), I may as well sell them and enjoy the money.
At the moment they're simply taking up space.

New Badly Drawn Boy album "One Plus One Is One". Very good and definitely a grower. Went to see a screening of the making of the album at the Corner House in Manchester on Saturday night and it was really interesting...
