Linkin Park - Minutes To Midnight first impressions - its ok - but they've obviously 'matured' ... there's not much of that rock-angst-stuff. its easily done when the millions of dollars start rolling in, i suppose ... some bits even sounds a bit like U2 if ya wanna shout 'fuck' at the world and love all that angry stuff, then this ain't really gonna do it for you ... fuck signatures

6am Jullandar Shere - Cornershop Leave me Alone - Portishead An ear for baby - The Thermals Really anything off The Thermals last album (the body the blood the machine) is rad. '7th message' - Prefuse 73 Knowledge - Operation Ivy Wu-Tang: 7th Chamber Part II - Enter the Wu-Tang clan Warning - Remedy One More Cup of Coffee - White Stripes Dug the kooks for a while, until they actually got released in the US, then it got annoying. Same thing happened with the shins after garden state, except, way worse. Damn main stream... That's pretty much the past half hour or so for me while I play around with CS3, which rocks on an intel mac. Hard Core. |

and when i first really listened to them i thought : "for fucks sake - if you lot are so angry and upset by everything, then do us all a favour, save some time and kill yerselves" but then they grew on me ... now i'm happily cutting myself 3 times a day, wearing mostly black stuff (hush puppies and cardigans) and when i'm not on my skateboard moodying around public buildings i'm watching 'rad' on channel 4 and cutting myself some more ... somehow my favourite Glen Campbell albums need remixing - and the words 'fuck' and 'hurt' need adding to the lyrics ... not sure if i'll ever actually get over my dislike of Good Charlotte (or very bad charlotte as i call them) .. too much eyeliner for me ... but on benders advice might try and have a listen .. p.s. - spiffywilco actually used the word 'rad' above ... i wonder if he watches it too ?? p.p.s. - regarding 'rad' (the programme) - there's definately something not right about a 30 year old bloke with long hair driving a bunch of 12 year olds (called The Groms, if i'm not mistaken) around the states - without their parents - don't you think ?? where does he sleep, i wonder ?? i also wonder if some 'foul play' occurs every evening ?? fuck signatures
