my bloody valentine, barrowlands

Fuck me. Ears still ringing. Loudest, most extreme performance I've seen yet.

Amazing.

Quality, innovative band.

I definately would have taken ear plugs to that gig. Did they play any new material?

Haha, they were handing them out for free pre-gig. Sod that.

Played some rarer stuff from their EP's but nothing I noticed as being new

I agree with Dusteh, my ears have been hammered due to gigs/clubs over the years. I can actually pinpoint the day they went 18 months ago at Herbal, I could only hear high frequencies for about 10 hours after, then just a constant ringing/tinittus, which is quite disturbing on quiet nights.

I always try and wear ear plugs, whether it is a gig, fesival or all night D&B mash up – but alas it's a case of slamming the door after the horse has bolted.

I burst my eardrum at a gig in King Tuts once. Kept falling over. Wasn't nice.

I have tinnitus as well now, went almost completely deaf in that ear for two days after a night out to see Ed Rush... slight high pitched ringing ever since.

Ah it had to be D&B, mine was Limewax @ Therapy Sessions. I instantly knew that night it would be permanent, wish I could turn back the clock.

It was either Danko Jones or Oceansize. I can't remember which one. Been to some brilliant gigs in Tuts.

ugh just reminded me that they are playing in NYC on the 22nd and 23rd both sold out.. Really didn't think I had to purchase tickets in advance; have they been selling out in the UK as well?
