Music and inspiration

Hi

I want to know, what kind of music are u people listening when comes time to think about a new project, a new concept. Ambiance or jazzy !? And do you think that music and sounds can influence our way to imagine and create !??!

For me... i listen a lot of tool ... just fine for kepping me awake and when i need to concentrate a lot, i'm often listening to the background loop at the DISLOC's website, or the O4D/black version website... kinda wierd heh... listening at the same ambience loop for long periods help me concentrate i think..

Anyway what are u listening at!?

I think he has that too. Personally, I am not such a big fan, I am not really into that form of rock, I prefer the likes of The Calling, Three Doors Down, Less Than Jake etc...

The Doors is good music to design to, on a deadline something fast with loud beats coupled with caffeine does the job.

I am listening some hip-hop (only few rappers) and all kind of funky beats like Freestylers and The Wiseguys!

Aenima is my favorite... solid all the way through

here at work I have about 1700 mp3's organized by rock, metal, electronic and alt. rock all on shuffle... I just select a playlist according to my mood... usually like something with a groove I can get into but Led Zeppin works the best... people watch me play air drums and bang my head with headphones on and laugh... oh well... at least I provide good entertainment at times
