Just bought tickets. Anyone else going?

The line-up's not setting my world on fire but the missus wanted to see the charlatans so that's that.

Next year she has to go to All Tomorrow's Parties and bloody well like it.

Just same-old for me this year; T in the Park

Toyed with going to glasto but the combination of buying a ticket without knowing the lineup & laziness prevented it from happening

i got done by a dug with a good nose coming off the train at colchester station at v 2000 (only went b'cos we had vip tickets) and have not been back since.

had a drug squad incident on the way into Glastonbury years ago... we were in a transit van, hand painted (using household emulsion) in rasta colours. Must have a sixth sense those coppers.

free food and booze. and sitting 10 foot away from tim booth singing 'laid' with just a guitarist - sweet. oh, and the same from richard ashcroft and many others. basically somewhere nice to hang out and not pay for it.

at least i couldn't get chucked out for smoking pot in there.

I've been to V the last couple of years (on weekend camping tickets) and I've enjoyed it each time. Last year was pretty hard to top with an excellent 'farewell' gig from Coldplay and a superb set from the Chili Peppers!

Unfortunately, I'm not going this year.. shame really... I'd love to see Muse... but the rest of the bill is fairly average fare IMO.
