Love the new album, wasn't a big fan of Untilted or Draft - but the new stuff is great. Wish I could go.

Cheers nini that's awesome, hadn't heard that before, I didn't realise it was Chris Cunningham who directed that till the end but I had a feeling it was him, makes good music vids. I'll be downloading the new album tonight, I've only heard a few tracks through being a big Boards of Canada fan and they're on the same record label, Warp/Skam.

Do bands touring in the UK think that Ireland is uninhabited? Or do they just think “Fuck 'em. They can fly over.”

One of the best gigs Ive been to. The bass was so heavy you could feel your insides shaking. If anyone has got the chance to see them, go.

Here are my favourite Autechre tracks - how about you?

laughing quarter - envane
acroyear2 - EP7
drane - Peel sessions
clipper - tri repetae
eutow - tri repetae
stop look listen - we are reasonable people

Gescom-wise the whole sounds of machines out parents used EP is fantastic.

Pen Expers from Confield is their best track for me. Stop look listen is bloody great as well... sounds like a machine slowly crashing.

Warm puke.

You always know when a band is well on the way out because they turn up in Helsinki on a tour.

I have not heard of Pen expers from Confield but I will try to track it down.

Here is a list of other great electronic artists:

B12
Beaumont Hannant
Belbury Poly
The Black Dog
Bochum Welt
Ceephax Acid Crew
Claro Intelecto
Clatterbox
Cylob
Denki Groove
DMX Krew
Drexciya
Global Communication
Jake Slazenger
Jedi Knights
Knifechophand
Luke Vibert
One of the fake entries
Plaid
Plendi salko
Secret Ingredients
The Tuss

Points -

1 - I cannot take attention to detail points for the alphabetical nature of the list, I simply browsed through my itunes before noticing towards the end of typing the post the lucky extra alphabeticalness feature.

2 - Two of the above are in fact fake bands I added to the list to provide an 'Inpost micro-quiz®' - see if you can spot the intruders!

3 - I did not mention obvious artists such as Aphex-twin, Squarepusher, Boards of Canada, μ ziq etc because I did not want to appear condescending.

Knifechophand should surely be knifehandchop - got two of his albums and hate them both. Going on eBay soon.
