roger waters was ace last night i thought... paying for it now though  the first half was great and then the second half dark side of the moon - doesnt get better than that!! first time id been in that arena too.. thought it was a great venue, just the right size. |

yeah - its good that we've got a nice shiny arena ... it was a good night - but i didn't eally settle into the first half ... i just don't like stadium gigs at all. a few chongs during the break made the second half loads better ... fuck signatures

Off to see 'the big thumb' himself - Paul McCartney on Sunday at Anfield ... .. supported by Kaiser Chiefs, Zutons and Dave Grohl apparently ... I gotta see a Beatle before they all die. should be great. fuck signatures

So Mars Volta was absolutely outstanding. Definitely recommend you see them if presented the opportunity. 2.5hrs of straight rock, it was brilliant. Got the Kanye West Glow in the Dark tour tomorrow night, been hearing really good things thus far. audentes fortuna iuvat
