Went to Ian Brown gig in Folkestone last night – utter shite. Without doubt the worst gig I've ever been to – he sounded awful, like a flat, drunk karaoke singer. Lots of people not happy there, spent most of the evening in the bar. I don't like saying any of this as I've been a fan of his for a long time (since Roses) and he is a legend, but If any of you are planning to go to any of the other gigs – I wouldn't bother. |

yer, i seen him twice, both time he sounded worse than the generator on the burger van outside. this however, is the only recorded moment of him singing in tune on stage: YouTube - Ian Brown - I Wanna Be Adored (T in the Park) quality rendition. |
