BBC NEWS | Entertainment | Led Zeppelin confirm reunion gig

I'd pay £125 to see Led Zep

Tickets will be hard to get.

Yes, if they don't fall out after o2, and that'll be more of a laugh as well.

I'd still love to see that show, but can't afford tix + flight.

It's too bad, because most of my favourite music was made before I was born, so I'll never get to see a lot of em. Led Zeppelin of course being my favourite.

Jason Bonham plays in Foreigner. Big John's boy.

Any chance they'll video the concert for DVD ? legally I mean.

Provided there's not another "substandard" performance like Live Aid -
at £125 I would hope not.

An estimated 20 million people rushed to register for tickets to see Led Zeppelin as soon as the band announced their reunion, promoters have said.
The remaining members of the legendary rock group will play a one-off show at the 20,000-capacity O2 arena in London on 26 November, they said on Wednesday.

The concert's website has struggled to cope with demand, and organisers have asked fans to be patient.

Registration for the £125 tickets closes at midday BST on Monday.

Tickets for the show will be allocated by public ballot - a move promoter Harvey Goldsmith hopes will deter touts.

I love Led Zep, but I wouldn't pay £125 for an hour and half, for charity or not.
The line up is crap, I expected it to be a bit better than this.

Jason Bonham is a session drummer for Foreigner, I once saw him with his own band BONHAM (original name eh?) and they were awful.
Nice pay day for him though.

I don't care if they played the shittiest music of all time. Just being there for $175 would be more than enough for me. It's Led Zeppelin, there just isn't anything left to say. It's them!

How long will they play for though? Prince has been playing the o2 for the last 3 weeks and it's just Prince. I bet thay play for no more than 1 hour, with all the other guff on the bill there wont be time to play for more than that.

I also can't believe that they are going to do all that rehearsing for 1 gig, they will do a world tour if all goes well at the o2.

I would rather see them after a few gig's as they will be tighter and rock harder.

I really hope they do this right. I'd hate Led Zeppelin to make a failed comeback.

I wonder why the headline has to mention The Cult?, as if Led Zepp need ANYONE to boost their future touring plans (if it happens).

For a minute there I thought the article headline was suggesting that Ian Astbury had joined Led Zepp in place of Robert Plant, he's already made an ass of himself of pretending to be Jim Morrison on the Doors massive cash in tour.

Nice design by Shepard Fairey (Obey Giant/Studio No 1) on Led Zepps Mothership best of album.
