Got to see Silverchair play First Ave. in Minneapolis last night.
GREAT SHOW!!! Anybody listening to their new album, Young Modern?

I've got some of their albums on my computer, they're pretty good. Haven't seen them live but would definitely go if they come to Glasgow.

Being from the States, it was great. They haven't played here since 99, and the only did a two week trek.
The last two albums are wonderful pieces of work. Great songwriting, and arrangements. They did a killer live show as well.

I bet they can put an excellent performance, if only they were better known in Mexico so they could visit here.

I only own Freak Show tho, I want to get YM and the rest except Frogstomp. DONT ASK, I just didn't got into that.

Is there any truth to what I've heard: that they are THE top selling band EVER out of Austrailia?

Young Modern came out mid year, and in July it came out in the States.
It's well worth the money. The bonus DVD in the extended version is worth the money was well. They recorded at Seedy Underbelly studios in LA.

YouTube some of their new stuff, they've changed so much it's crazy. It's like Black Sabbath/Iommi decided to throw away the distortion pedal and pick up a pedal steel with some horns and strings. Great music though.
