I finally got round to checking out Amy Winehouse albums quite recently too. Checked out Back To Black first and then Frank. They grew on me quite rapidly and have giving both albums some solid listening time in the past few weeks, sometimes both of them back to back on repeat. I actually think that BtB is a pretty solid album all the way through. Frank sets the tone well, carving out her niche - though the production is a little clumsy, if not cheesy, at times. BtB grows out of that and is a more accomplished album in a number of ways. Vocally, some of the loose, jazziness of Frank is lost in BtB, which is a shame as I came to Winehouse via jazz, but it's slipped nicely into another interesting blend of sounds in BtB. Both good albums. S'shame it took me as long as it did to actually check them out. Sometimes my reactionary, anti-buzz/anti-hype sensibilities mean I end up missing some real gems from time to time. I thought Amy Winehouse was a new chain of British off-licences. My free fonts www.utfi.net

Too tattooed. I just looked at some photos via Google Images. She's like a bag lady version of Helen Shapiro. The 1963 eyeliner effect and bouffant hair are fun. My free fonts www.utfi.net
