I read in the papers that she sold 1,800,000 copies of her album (Back to Black)!!...in the uk alone btw!!..and film producers from the new BOND film are considering her to sing tha theme tune!!!...so she must be doing something right whether you like her or not

Christina 'fucking' Aguilera - she can sing well, but Amy is a different class. FACT.

She will go down in history as one of the greatest 'popular' singer songwriters of this decade. No one else comes close at the moment or probably won't for a while.

You've got to admit she sounds a fair bit like Billy. I've got a lot of Billie Holiday records (for obvious reasons) and I have the Madeleine Peyroux alb too, which is pretty nice listening.
