Web Design music

So i'm curious what music people listen to while they design pages. I've found techno helps me be more creative. So everyone post there favorite songs/bands/titles to listen to when they are designing. I curious and i'd like to build up my design playlist

my first suggestion is DJ Greddy - I see stars

My favorite bands for while I'm designing are:

Muse
Lynard Skynard
Some Beatles
My Chemical Romance
Pink Floyd

Mostly stuff with lots of guitars

Sometimes its the best way- anything with vocals just tends to distract me when I'm trying to solve some tricky issue. However if I'm just sketching a layout or something then some chilled stuff does the trick- DJ Krush, Zero 7, Nightmares on Wax etc.

I've noticed the kind of music I need to listen to has to do with the design I'm going for. Techno/Trance is for the "futuristic" designs, while listening to an Indie playlist would result in a trendy design.

For me, most the time it's Death Cab, Sigur Ros, Postal Service, Mars Volta, etc.

Yeah, those tunes are great. Tune into a bit of Telefon Tel Aviv or Boards of Canada for some relaxing, inspirational sounds.

it depends of course,
I do prefer instrumental music when coding. Or I start subconsiously typing down the lyrics I hear.

When illustrating/designing anything goes. From Company Flow to Bach. It probably does influence my work i guess.

I'm not familiar with the band 'bunch of freaks' weldo.

I find Amon Tobins soundtrack for the 3rd splintercell game is quite good for working to.

i listen to the bands i'm into. i don't find a particular genre needs to be listened to just to do the best designs to. it's all about the quality of music for me & as long as it's high & the lyrics are inspirational, then i find myself being pushed to equal them in terms of thoughtful & radical design.

currently for me it's the fountain score by clint mansell, the new 65 days of static record, the new deftones record, some nine inch nails, some deadsy, some mellowdrone and some splashes of tv on the radio here & there.

mostly metal and hardcore, but then I listen mostly to metal and hardcore whether building websites, having a cider at home, wanking or any number of other activities.
