I'm surprised the students here didn't have some sort of vigil.

Never met him. Although I did suspect the guy who walks round town with a toilet roll dispenser (or rubber chicken, his underpants or a loaf of bread) on his head was him.

plenty of early clips on You Tube ... Apples and Oranges, Jugband Blues, Astronomy Domine etc ... ah ... back when they were still 'The Pink Floyd'

I feel better for watching a few of them ....
A bit of Dolly Rocker would go down well today if i can find it ....

yeah but that 'Murder On The Dance Floor' tune was out in 2002 .... and the Zidane joke wasn't that far behind it - so still a good 3 or 4 years ago ...
