Saw James Browm open up for the Chilli Peppers at Hyde Park - he was a total waste of time, just too old to perform now, so his MC carried the whole show (the chillis were awesome though, unfortunately the live cd was cut on a different night, but it's worth it just for the solo bits by John Frusciante).

Been listening to 2 many DJ's and Lionel Ritchie repeatedly this weekend.

Even if he sat in a wheelchair shitting into a colostomy bag while a backing track played in the background, he's still worth seeing. He's James Brown!

can we list our favourites even if we think everyone has already got it? My ultimate would be Radiohead - Ok Computer but I didnt see that as a recommendation

that's cool.

There's a band called Pugwash - from Dublin. They're one of my fave bands actually ... and i like a good old 'west coast sound' like the Thrills attempted - but they got the balance all wrong and that album just farts along - saw them live too and was equally unimpressed ... rant over.

here, too...

And just one idle chit-chattery type question before we continue...I'd assume we're posting albums that we can sit and listen to most, if not all, of the songs...all the while lovin' each one...yes?

Well, at least those are in my list above. And, here's one more:

Pearl Jam -- Ten (a classic that must be added)
