I definitely do enjoy the new Deftones.

I'm getting that free one up there now, I'll give it a try once it's done. My favorite band is the Mars Volta though, if nobody has suggested it, give it a listen, it's really good!

First submission: Pink Floyd - Animals.

Wanna know what the late 70s was like? Forget The Clash and punk - listen to this. An album about meglomaniacal businessmen and greed. Loosley based on Animal Farm - a classic. Dark, cynical and truly brilliant.

Tonight I needed some new music tonight and I went through this thread for advice. I picked:

Muse - Absolution
Modest Mouse - Good News For People Who Love Bad News
Deftones - Saturday Night Wrist (have all the old ones...needed this)
The Kooks - Inside In / Inside Out

Got 'em all and will have a listen throughout the day tomorrow while working.

Keep this going. It will continue to grow into a good reference.

I enjoyed it, good to hear someone not going on about T+A and shooting people all the time.

Been listening to a bit of Dead Prez lately too.
