Glitchy electro pop? I would suggest 'Modeselektor', maybe 'Isolee'. 'I Am Robot And Proud' is definately worth a look.

My recommendation of the week:

Charlotte Gainsbourg - 5:55

With lyrics from Jarvis Cocker (Pulp) and Neil Hannon (Divine Comedy), music from Air and production from Nigel Godrich (Radiohead, Beck, etc) it's bound to be amazing.

Luke A: Agreed.

What's "Takk" like?

On a post-rock note, I recommend Explosions In The Sky's "The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place".

listen to the album 'lycanthropy' by patrick wolf
particularly the tracks - child catcher & bloodbeat

this kid is close to genius. it's a mix of heavy electronica, with dark yet thoughtful vocals and sparse orchestral tinkerings.

really interesting. his next record isn't so interesting, but lycanthropy is a must. it follows the changing into a wolf theme nicely & contains some very modern chopped up beats and perverse melodes.

Can I recommend an album?

This is the best new band about just now. Bar none. No doubts.

Blackbud - From The Sky.
