Not really my bag but Draft 7.30 by Autechre is the daddy. Has all the off beats, glitchy buzzes and electro hums you can ask for. |

It's not electro-pop, but randomnumber do some cracking glitchy electronica. Bought these today, would recommend all of them: Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan - Ballad of the Broken Seas Hot Chip - The Warning The Kooks - Inside In / Inside Out Phoenix - It's Never Been Like That |

Our studio manager saw them a fortnight ago and has been raving about them ever since so I thought I'd check them out - really liking it. Kind of reminds me of a more upbeat Postal Service. They're playing at the Indian Summer festival in Glasgow later in the year, can't wait |

Porcupine Tree. A very good British band indeed. Try "Deadwing" or "In Abstentia" or visit http://www.porcupinetree.com/ for a sneaky listen. Have just booked tickets to go and see them in September (twice). Counting the days..... |

Might be not quite what you're after but you should check out Battles if you don't know them already: http://www.bttls.com not the easiest to navigate website, and i can't remember their myspace page but they're awesome. edit: Oh, how about The Album Leaf too?! They're a bit more chilled out than pop but worth a try Last edited by FakeFrench : 25-07-2006 at 10:48. |
