No. 1 UK songs.
I'm trying to get all the number one uk songs for my uncle. Kinda a favour. Anyway, I don't exactly want to download them all separately because it'll take me ages.. Does anyone know of somewhere I could buy them. (Cheaply and probably illegally) They could even be in data form on a CD or DVD. Thanks for any help. |

I don't get that man...there have been loads of UK no. 1 songs..what do you want? Hits of 1990's? Hits of 1900's? Get the box sets "Now that's what I call music" for whatever year you want. They have all the hits of the specific year for UK singles |

Here you go - http://www.onlineweb.com/theones/ Doesn't go back as far as 1920 though - 1950 onwards. "Charts of record sales did not begin in the UK until 14th November 1952. "The Hit Parade" was first published by the the music paper, the New Musical Express. However, these web pages also provide the number one songs in the sheet music sales charts from 1950. These show the most popular songs of the time, plus the most notable recordings of the songs which were in the shops." |
