Throwing money away

Does anybody know the name of the Band/Song/Director who did the video, wherein they threw bags of real money off a roof in a city and recorded it, and used that chaos as their video?

I think it was the Fun Loving criminals but i'm not sure?

I'm sure I saw a video like this too where a band threw shit loads of money down into the massive rush hour crowd at London Liverpool Street station then filmed everyone going mental, was cool to watch...anyone else see it ?

....or did I dream that ?

Actually, after reading that link, I think those guys are artist's arn't they, not a band?

I remember watching it on MTV, a band withdrew money from a bank, went to the top of a tall building, and threw it off, and filmed it as their music video. Rather than spending the money on special effects and graphics...

Trying to find it for my dissertation on the Music Video...

anybody doing anything similar, was just copying the klf. can't be arsed to read that page b'cos its so bloody illegible with that background and i've read it all before.

suffice to say that the klf didn't broadcast it, they invited one journalist to witness it happen and he didn't know what he was going to see till he got there. genius on a far greater level than any of the rip-offs that followed.

the liverpool street stunt/video was by a band called Mansun and the song was called 'tax loss' - hence the idea of throwing money away. The KLF famously burned £1M in a 'Wicker Man' style stunt
