I did think it was a ridiculous amount of still cameras, i now think that they had the people standing still with some dummies/people suspended by wire with explosions/broken glass added afterwards in post

It could easily be quantum foam though

do you not think perhaps it was a camera rig attached to one of those moving rails, then multiple shots taken along its path.

probably alot of post work too adding the details like the cash and bullets.

most impressive

I did think that, but that's a lot of still shots the difficult to orchestrate all those people at once

yeah the people do look a bit like they have been shopped in afterwards.

i recon they have probably done the empty building first.

then re-traced the very same path doing individual shots of the people that they have subsequently stitched into photos of the environment.

if they had it on a rail they could retake shots aat exact points along a path so that when it comes to compoing them together they are an exact fit.

Id love to see the process on that

actually thats wrong as well, the photos would have to be simaltaneos to get all the different POV.

it must be hundreds of cameras set of a path that all triggered at the same time

mind melting

It shows how it was done on the website.

When playing it it gets to a certain bit on the timline where it says dop on lighting, just click that and you can see a sort of behind the scenes.

you're assuming those bits aren't a bit of a piss-take and even once i'd seen them, i'm not sure how they did it

True, I had no sound on so not sure what they were saying. To me it seemed as though the whole set up was a camera on a rail and dummies, the rest was effects added in afterwards.

The awesome part is that with all this incredible technology, what you end up with is a still from some crappy LAPD shoot-em-up.

Blecchh.
