hello everyone, recently i've been really getting into film and motion graphics and I'd really like to learn more by going to school. I was wondering if anyone could suggest any art schools with strong programs in motion graphics?

It would be my ideal goal to work for a company like Trollbäck + Company which produces a lot of great stuff.

Hopefully my question is not too vague, but any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Don't go. Everything you will ever learn there is freely available online and in help documents. If you're wanting to pay, go with lynda.com tutorials. They cover everything!

I agree that most stuff can be learned online, and that the best way to understand software etc. is to just play around with it and figure stuff out yourself... But to me schools is much more than just learning the stuff, you (hopefully) also recive constructive critisism on your work and create a strong network. I also think, that when you rely on online tutorials, there is a great chance that you will fall into a pit of designers creating basiclly the exact same stuff... I would say try school, and depending on the country you live in, it might even be free...
