Linomation - hand carved animation

so im currently working on a new linomation at the moment....

as the name suggests its carved in linoleum... this one will only last like 25 seconds... but thats still 300 6cm square frames of animation to carve...ahhhhh....... i'll let you know when its done...

i did this linomation last year..

I Like the idea.!
that room slide thing is cool as well.

definately interested in creating elements for real and feeding them into the computer...people respond much better to these kinds of 'real' animation.
I guess it's the imperfections that make it cool.

well its all just photography then lined up in layers on the computer and then dropped into an animation program and made into a moving image...

yea ahh got to get back to carving the other one now!!! 1/4th of the carving done!! WAHOOOOOOOOO... anyways yea CHEERS!

First it reminded me how long it had been since I carved any lino (before you were born maybe). Then it reminded me how shit I did it when I tried.

Good stuff man, consider me impressed.
