HD video in flash 8
Hi I am building an interface/kiosk that will be running on a local PC. I'm using flash 8 and need to incorporate some HD video into it. I want to keep the original HD quality or get as close to it - my problem is that when I import it, even using a really high bitrate like 6000kb/s I am still getting compression and can see the difference in quality. Any ideas? Thanks G |

Compression is sort of Flash's point, to incorporate everything into a .fla file and then export it as it's final .swf which is much much smaller. I think when all the software goes through its major upgrades next year is when they might do something between after effects or premier, but until then I can't think of an easy answer. Anybody else? |
