Any way to pick & choose buttons on video plugins?

Hi All,
Is there a way to choose which controls show up for a video on my site? We'd like to only show the timeline so people can scrub back and forth, but nothing else. Here is one of the pages: http://www.scarefare.com/test/journal1v.html Also, is there any way to control which player is used on the viewer's end? Thanks for any help!

I'm gonna go ahead and say "No."

And forcing things on your users is never a good idea. Why would you want so much control over how they see your content?

That was my feeling exactly . However, it was requested if there could only be a timeline. So is there no way?

Only way I know of is to make a custom Flash video playing thing.

No, QT, WMP, RP, etc are just browser plugins, they can't be controlled by web code to my knowledge. Also, the plugin that launches depends both on the file type and the default software for viewing that type of file.
