AE tips
Using the camera in After effects. This is definately the best tip I picked up when learning ae. It will make your life alot easier when using the camera. 1. create new camera 2. create new null object 3. parent the camera to the null. (use the pick whip) 4. make the null layer 3D. (check the cube box) 5. lock the camera layer *you can now manipulate the camera by setting keyframes for the position of the null layer instead of the camera* Also set keyframes on the null layer for orientation and rotation. This menthod is a million times easier than dragging the camera around which can get pretty hairy. |
