Hey everyone.

This is an identity I created for a new comparison shopping search engine that I work for. Give me all you've got, good and bad. I've gone through many, many, MANY designs... and this is the final one. I'm not a fan of the "smiley", yet that wasn't my decision. Also, I know a good rule of thumb when designing an identity is to keep graphic elements to a minimum. I realize this identiy has three, so... we'll see what happens.

It's not too bad. Like you, I hate the smiley face. Ugh. I don't really care for the colors, either. It's not great, it's alright I guess.

Yep, too much happening here IMHO. Colors, fonts, sizes... It'd be something hard to remember, I think

It's a bit of a mess tbh. Scrap it and start again I would.

The colors don't go together too well.
The different font sizes/baselines make it hard to read.
The spacing between the elements appears random.
There's too much going on.

It needs to be simpler

I'm not liking maple leaf at all, looks completely out of place.

To be fair I don't think the url is helping you either!

Well, the URL cannot be helped. So many are already taken that when a name was decided for the company, a huge part of what name was chosen was based on what was available. We had another name, but someone else had the .com and wouldn't budge on selling it.

Anyway, thanks for the info people... I appreciate it.
