They probably got fed up with us taking the piss and bought a slowly rotating barber's pole, you know, the stripy red and white thing that everyone in Christendom has associated immediately with a barbershop for the past 700 years.

Obviously it was rotated by slaves in the Olden Dayes before there was electricity, and before we let them in, there were Welshmen with oddly over-developed right arms who frequented the streets after hours but before curfew.
