Personal Logo Critique
Hey guys I'm starting to make ideas of a possible logo for a portfolio site im going to put together for myself in the future. I have one logo I like so far and want to expand on it more. I'd like some feed back on whats good in the logo and what I desperately need to change. I just want some good feedback so I can improve on everything. Thank you! |

I want it to display my graphic design and web design work. Just a space to place all of my work for people to see and to contact me if they like my work. I'm planning on buying my own web domain name and running my own server. |

It's not a good idea to mix two different concepts into one logo. I like the paint background, you should have your name within that space aswell, with the same font. And get rid of the bevel and emboss effect on the text, looks really amatuer. |

Work on the typography a little. Check the tracking/kerning and if you're going to adjust the baseline height on the "y", make it look purposeful. Have some of the other letters at different heights. Or use a font where you can tuck "vontran" in without adjusting the height. I also agree with the comments about the bevel/emboss effects. Keep working at it! |
