Is it just me?
Hi everyone, I've been a member a short time and love to view peoples work and sometimes give feed back. I especially like looking at the brand ID designs as i think they can be really tricky to do and for me is the tell tale sign of a good designer. The thing i seem to notice more than anything on here, is that when people create a logo they seem to go straight on there mac (or PC, but i'm guessing mac)! Is this what everyone does???! I think it really shows in the finished piece. Too many logo's with zero concept and very little thought at all. So with this in mind - let's hear what everyone's process is from start to finish. |

I just think its quite nieve for people to think that the perfect logo is more or less just there waiting for them in illustrator... we're lucky enough to work in a creative industry and i think sometimes people forget the key word in there and bypass the ideas stage. |

GOOD!!!! Ten points! or more if you want them! Now how many people would have gone in, picked Bradley hand ITC and then said "it looks hand written, I've finished!!!!". I've read a few things in this forum abut the whole pricing thing, i think the reason is that people do stuff like that and de-value what we do. |
