critique and help on my world cup logo
im doing this as a project for uni it is the 2018 world cup in england. the key factors are: communicates that it is the football world cup obviously simplicity represents england in a positive way, it is the home of football suitable for animation professional, corporate feel. ive done a bunch of ideas and developed them ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() sorry for the barrage of images i feel like im stuck in a bit of a rut and still havent found a logo im happy with. cheers |

Always be careful with rotational symmetry in logo's: Like on the second one in black and white. It might remind people of a swastika. I'm not a big fan of the whole mid 90s Joan Miró style of logo's. Like in the original 96 one and the one below it. My preference goes to the last one done in black and white, although the colour version feels a bit off. |

what about something that encorporates the wembley arch?? the final will be played there undoubtedly. but be careful not to stray too close to the actual wembley logo itself. maybe try some ideas with england 2008 underneath a curved line to represent the arch and take it from there?? type curved lines is very popular at the moment, but you'll be making a connection with the jewel in english football's crown. |
