Hey guys, I'm new here and I'm going to be making a personal site. The only problem is I'm not that creative when it comes to logo design. I have all of the editing tools, such as Photoshop, Fireworks, and Illustrator, I just have no idea where to begin. It will be running on Joomla!'s open source content management system, and using one of yootheme's templates. Attached are a couple of pictures of the current site look and my current logo.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

A good place to start is what type of site are you building? Is it a personal site about personal hobbies or families? Or is it a site devoted to a specific niche? Depending on what the content is, your logo can be designed a number of different ways.

site looks good logo needs some work, I would bolden up the gary and make moats smaller
