Brand identity

Hi guys,

im stuck for a few days now! we from MicroDesign are web designers and developers. normally for clients we have no problem with idea's and stuff but for our own company i cant find any solutions. whats the thing. we have a pretty nice logo. but we do not got any identity.

Webdesign, E-commerce en Marketing | Microdesign

What i like to do is have some kind of layout in our documents mails and other print media so we have really a signature style..

use of fonts, colours, positions and such. does anyone has examples of good document layouts of does anyone has a idea for our company?

Just follow the style of your website. Using green, black and white. Keep it simple for your stationery and other documents.

You could keep it as simple as just having a full-color logo as your header, and keeping the rest in black ink. For stuff like stationary, keep it as simple as possible.

That stuff looks fine. I don't see the problem.

Like others have said: keep it simple.

and how many fonts do you guys suggest to use in your:
offers,
folders,
brochures,
and other print medium.

if you look at our business Webdesign, E-commerce en Marketing | Microdesign
we like to do a all new site for 2008. but the main theads need to be the same (like the m squire idea)
just changing fonts and such
what u guys think?

I don't know.. I like what you posted. Your fonts are just fine, IMO. I might even get rid of the green strip down the right side.

Some nice sans-serifs are Geosans, Mank Sans, and District Thin. You can always fall back on boring 'ol Helvetica, too.

Coops is going to have a field day.

microdesign: IMO don't try to over do it, the letter head is relatively good, as long as everything inside it is neat it will be good.

I know this is the wrong time to mention it, but that 'G' in the logo looks wrong. It looks a lot lighter than the rest of the text, presumably because it's a capital letter scaled down. You should probably use a lower-case 'g', or try to beef up the capital you're using now.

How about building a brand identity that is based around the name?
Give it purpose as apposed to just making a pretty logo.

Where does the name 'microdesign' come from?
Have you looked up the definition for the word 'micro'?
What are your reasons for choosing the name?

Yeah, Gotham's nice but I'd take heed to the above posts and take another overall look at it...
